Editing process
What we learned through editing was that editing was easier than expected. The either camera auto adjusted or Ethan tweaked the camera settings so we didn't need to color grade or adjust the exposure of any scenes. Sound was also simple because the camera we used had a boom microphone and the microphone told us if the sound was too quiet so we would reshoot scene. Some scenes were a bit loud so we lower the volume for a few clips. We also added music over the opening to grab the attention of the viewer when dialogue is not happening. Then for all the cuts we only used standard cuts because the pace of the opening was very slow and using different cuts does not fit the genre. For the credits we used a black background and added text over it. On the text we used a slow fade effect to add to the slow opening. Most shots are long duration unless they are over the shoulder shots. We also adjusted the exposure throughout because some scenes were extremely bright or the street lights were over exposed.
